Premier League outfit Chelsea are reportedly considering a £100 million (R1.73 million) bid from Real Madrid for two Blues stars.
According to the Daily Mail, Los Blancos have tabled a £100 million offer for both Belgium international Thibaut Courtois and FC Barcelona target Willian.
The Spanish giants are said to be looking to bolster their squad for the upcoming season, and after selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Serie A's Juventus, they have some money to spend.
Belgian No. 1 Courtois has one year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge, and has made it clear he would like to move back to the Spanish capital at some point as his children live there.
Willian, who had an impressive 2018 FIFA World Cup with Brazil, looked set to join the Blaugrana in this transfer window, but after numerous bids were rejected, the Catalan club seemingly opted to sign Bordeaux winger Malcom instead.
The LaLiga side apparently believes they will be able to land the 29-year-old Brazilian for £65 million (R1.12 billion), while they expect Courtois will command a fee of £35 million (R606 million).
With the transfer window closing on 9 August for English clubs, the Blues are believed to be doing everything in their power to try to keep both players at Stamford Bridge.
