London side Arsenal are reportedly lining up a former Real Madrid boss as a possible replacement for Arsene Wenger.

The Frenchman signed a new two-year contract with the Gunners ahead of the current campaign, but new rumours suggest that his stay might be cut short.

According to English publication The Evening Standard, former Los Blancos, Bayern Munich and AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti is being considered as Wenger's successor.

The Arsenal manager is under enormous pressure once again in his career, this time after his team suffered a 4-2 loss to Championship side Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup.

It is believed that sections of the club's supporters have had enough of Wenger's failures on and off the football pitch, and are calling for change before it is too late.

The report suggests that Ancelotti, who is also being monitored by his former club Chelsea, is looking for a new adventure and is apparently keen on returning to the English top flight.

Man City Star Hints At Sanchez Arrival?

Gunners chief executive Ivan Gazidis has always backed Wenger in tough times like these, but he may be forced to make a change if the club fails to lift a trophy this season.

Wenger is a failure of note. Eversince Gunners gave him another contract, I stopped watching Arsenal because I knew what to expect.

They must be also be prepared to spend if they want Arsenal to compete with the big clubs. Big managers want big names in their squads.

Replacing WenCow with Cowcelotti won't make any difference. Cowcelotti is an outdated madala who only succeeds when he has the best squad in the league hence he was fired at Chelsea, Real and Bayern.

Wenger has done all that it takes to leave Arsenal, he has led the club to Glory as well as to bad times. At some stage i felt like he owned the Club because other Clubs have always changed managers durring time of poor perfomance, something am yet to see at Arsenal. Wenger is the Foot Ball Dictator of our time. let him go.
