Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has reportedly told a former FC Barcelona star he has no future at Stamford Bridge and will be allowed to leave the club in this transfer window.
According to The Sun, Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas has been told his playing time with the Blues will be substantially less this season.
It has been suggested that the Italian manager is not impressed with the Spaniard's work rate, or lack thereof, and feels his laziness will not work in his system.
Fabregas, who has played only 12 minutes of Premier League football so far this season, has responded to the reports, however, dismissing any speculation that he may be looking to leave the club.
The 29-year-old has made 98 appearances in all competitions for the Stamford Bridge side since joining in 2014, scoring 11 goals and assisting a further 34 strikes.
Do you think Fabregas should push for a move before the transfer window closes, or should he stay and fight for a place in the team? Have your say in the comments section below.
