In-demand Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is set to snub Jose Mourinho's Manchester United in order to join Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
According to English publication The Sun, the Chile international will turn down any offer from the Red Devils as he would prefer to join Guardiola's project at City.
The Citizens have been linked with Sanchez since the beginning of the season, and it is believed that the former FC Barcelona forward would like to reunite with his former manager.
The 29-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and reports suggest that Arsenal have given trying to keep him at the club.
Although City's interest in the Chilean has been evident for a few months now, this has not stopped Mourinho from trying to hijack the deal.
News broke on Thursday that United made a £25 million (R419 million) offer, which could include Henrikh Mkhitaryan, to Arsenal, a deal they are apparently considering, with City having previously tabled a £20 million (R336 million) bid.
Sanchez has made 21 appearances for the London club so far this season, scoring eight goals and assisting four further strikes.
