Things seem to be going from bad to worse at Manchester United after reports claimed two senior players were involved a bust-up at training.

The Red Devils have had a season to forget, with the club set to finish without a trophy and their lowest points tally in Premier League history.

The frustration of a poor campaign seemingly spilled on to the training ground on Thursday when two players had to be pulled apart at Carrington.

The Sun have reported that the two unnamed players had a 'full-on scrap' towards the end of their training session three days ago, which forced Ralf Rangnick to end the practice earlier than expected.

The report adds that some of the Man United players were quite stunned by the incident before they ordered to return to the changing rooms.

The Red Devils were given some more time off as they are not in action on Sunday with the rest of the league, but will finish their season away to Crystal Palace next weekend.

United currently sit in sixth position, but they could still finish in the UEFA Conference League spot if they fail to best Palace and West Ham United win their remaining two games.
