The Citizens seem destined to win the Premier League to go along with their League Cup title, but they were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League earlier this week.

According to the Telegraph, City will look to bring in three players in the off-season as they look to address their failures in Europe.

Some of the midfield options include Julian Weigl of Borussia Dortmund, Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fred, Napoli''s Jorginho  and Jean-Michel Seri of OGC Nice. It is believed that £40m or upwards would be what it would take secure the services of one these midfielders.

In the attack, AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, who is rated at £90m, is also reportedly a target for the Citizens.

The same report claims that any attempts to sign a defender is dependent on whether Guardiola still has patience to deal with Vincent Kompany's injuries.
