Manchester United have allegedly already agreed personal terms with a Real Madrid star, and could announce his transfer as soon as Sunday.
Jose Mourinho is a fan of finishing his transfer business early and is reportedly pushing hard to bring James Rodriguez to the Old Trafford.
A new report by Radio Caracol in Rodriguez’s home country now suggests, the 25-year-old’s switch to England could be made public on Sunday after Real’s final La Liga game.
Last week, it had been reported that the player already agreed on personal terms with the Red Devils and it looks as if Mourinho wants to sign him as soon as possible.
However, AS insist Real are unlikely to announce any departure of their players before the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday, 3 June 2017.
Zinedine Zidane doesn’t want his squad to be distracted by transfer speculation, as he wants their focus to be on winning the double this season.
Rodriguez, who is only Real’s second player to have reached double figures in goals (11) and assists (13) this season, has reportedly waved his goodbye to fans at the Santiago Bernabeu during the club’s final home game of the campaign on Sunday.
