Manchester United have reportedly made a final decision on Edinson Cavani's future ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo's return.
Cavani recently signed a contract extension with the club after impressing during his debut season with the Red Devils last term.
With the arrival of Jadon Sancho and Ronaldo in an already stacked attack, there were concerns the Uruguay international's place might a cause for concern.
However, Manchester Evening News have reported that United are not planning to sell the 34-year-old before Tuesday's deadline.
Renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano also reported that Cavani is going nowhere along with Paul Pogba.
Cavani impressed during the business end of the 2020/2021 campaign after bagging 10 goals in his final 11 appearances, including one in the Europa League final.
The 34-year-old could make his first for the Red Devils against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday afternoon after missing the first two games due to an extended holiday.
