With Jose Mourinho already planning for the new season, new reports suggest that a Real Madrid star has already agreed personal terms with Manchester United.
The Portuguese tactician recently revealed that he is planning to splash the cash in the next transfer window, with a number of big names, including Antoine Griezmann, being linked with the club.
However, Spanish outlet Don Balon has now claimed that James Rodriguez is close to joining the Red Devils after agreeing personal terms with the English giants.
Los Blancos are said to have set their sights on signing United goalkeeper David de Gea, and the English side have apparently proposed a swap deal, which includes the Colombian.
Rodriguez is reportedly keen to leave Real after playing second fiddle under Zinedine Zidane this season.
Mourinho is understood to have told De Gea he will be allowed to leave if he has made up his mind on playing for Los Blancos as the Portuguese does not want players who do not want to be at his club.
It remains to be seen whether or not Real and United agree on a swap deal involving De Gea and Rodriguez, but it seems Mourinho has big plans for the upcoming window.
