Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly planning a clear-out in order to bring in a Bayern Munich star next season.
Veteran midfielder Micheal Carrick is expected to retire at the end of the season, while Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera have also been linked with exits.
According to Chilean daily La Cuarta, the Portuguese tactician is keen on signing Arturo Vidal and is willing to offer €50 million for the midfielder as he looks to bolster his midfield.
If Carrick, Fellaini and Herrea do move on, Mourinho will be only left with Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and young Scott McTominay in midfield.
La Cuarta also claim that United are willing to offer the 30-year-old €14 million a season to lure from the Bundesliga giants.
