It has been reported that the Everton player who was arrested on suspicion of "child sex offences" has been moved to a safe house after being released on bail.
According to the Daily Mail, an unnamed Everton player was arrested last week Friday over alleged child sex offences, but has strongly denied any wrongdoing.
The Merseyside club recently released a statement confirming the suspension of the footballer in question, and have since reportedly arranged "temporary accommodation" for him, where he is receiving support.
The player, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has not been charged with any crime at this point and is currently out on bail pending further investigations into the matter.
On Monday, Greater Manchester Police said: "Officers arrested a man on Friday, July 16 2021 on suspicion of child sex offences. He is on police bail pending further enquiries."
