Former Arsenal and Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor could be set for a surprise return to the Premier League.
The Togolese forward is currently a free agent after parting ways with Paraguayan outfit Olimpia due to the coronavirus pandemic back in July.
According to the Sun, Adebayor has made West Bromwich Albion's short-list of attacking targets for the 2020/2021 season.
It is believed manager Slaven Bilic is desperate to add another striker to his side after starting the season with two losses on the return to the top flight.
The report claims the Baggies have already made contact with the Togolese's representatives over a possible deal.
Adebayor last featured in the Premier League with Crystal Palace, but he only managed to score one goal in 15 appearances.
