Chelsea have reportedly made contact with a former Real Madrid star as new manager Maurizio Sarri looks to strengthen his attack.
With Alvaro Morata reportedly on his way out of Stamford Bridge after just one season, Sarri is keen to land another forward.
According to Sky in Italy, the Blues have made contact with Juventus with the hope of acquiring striker Gonzalo Higuain.
The same report claims that Juve need to sell due to UEFA's Financial Fair Player rules after they signed Cristiano Ronaldo for £105m.
Sarri worked with Higuain during his time at Napoli, and it is believed that the Chelsea boss is keen on a reunion with the Argentine.
Higuain netted 23 goals and created a further eight across all competitions for the Old Lady last season.
