Report: Arsenal's Six-Man Shortlist To Replace Wenger Revealed

Arsene Wenger is set to leave Arsenal at the end of the season, and the Gunners have reportedly drawn up a six-man shortlist of targets to replace the Frenchman.

Wenger confirmed on Friday that he will leave at the Gunners at the end of the season, bring an end to his 22-year stay with the club.

As a result, a number of managers have already linked to take over from Wenger next season.

According to the Mirror, some of the big names that are on the shortlist are Massimiliano Allegri, Leonardo Jardim, Brendan Rodgers and Luis Enrique.

The same report claims that Arsenal are also looking former players Patrick Viera and Mikel Arteta, although both are fairly new to the management game.

Vieira currently manages New York City FC in the Major League Soccer, while Arteta is part of Pep Guardiola's coaching staff at Manchester City.

Arsenal not only need a change in coaches, but also playing personnel. They've proven that they can't compete domestically even worse internationally. We don't need Arteta he's still an understudy Arsenal cannot experiment at this stage/time they need experienced coach, they've been without major cups for far too long. They must go into the market, and leave out free bee's/rejects from other teams but buy quality players starting from a goalminder, Chech is old, reflexes are not up to scratch,our defense is not solid,including our midfield we need an overhaul..

my respect to soccerladuma become more and more after every single day ...the guys work very hard to get us soccer news ...it's been more than 2 years the guys have been telling us that Wenger time at Arsenal is up..not only him but all the others coaches who have faced the chop ...even at work I get to this soccerladuma website maybe after 4 hours I'm sure there will be new soccer stories...some rumours pending to be facts.. I can delete my whatsapp but not soccerladuma..it makes me love soccer ..

Luis Enrique can take the team far. I'd really like to see him up against Pep. If not him, it would be nice for me to see Patrick Vieria take over.
