As the club look to get back among the top four from next season, the Mirror claim the Gunners will want to add a couple new faces but will need to offload a few of the current players first.
It is being reported that Gunners want offload six players to make way for new faces next season, and one player who is on his way out is Matteo Guendouzi.
The French midfielder fell out of favour with Arteta at the end of last season, which eventually saw the player loaned out to Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin.
Lucas Torreira is one player who is not planning on returning to the Emirates, as the midfielder confirmed he wants to join Boca Juniors after his mother passed away recently.
"It’s not a violent emotion, a crazy decision because of my mother. I have always said that I want to play for Boca. I’m dying to play for Boca and I will always say it," he told ESPN Argentine.
"The night my mother died, one of the first to hear the news was my agent. I don’t want to play in Europe anymore, I want to play for Boca."
The other four players on the reported exit list included Mohamed Elneny, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Sead Kolasinac and Konstantinos Mavropanos.
