The Gunners have been linked with the England international for the past few months after both Dani Ceballos and Martin Odegaard returned to Real Madrid at the end of their loan spells.
Maddison's price tag reportedly sits at £60 million (R1.2 billion), but the north London outfit could look to sweeten the deal by including one of their first-team players.
Football London, as cited by The Sun, has reported that Arsenal are prepared offer one of Reiss Nelson, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Joe Willock and Eddie Nketiah as part of the deal.
All four players have been linked with departures due to a lack of minutes at the Emirates Stadium, while Maitland-Niles and Willock were sent out on loan last season.
It is further claimed, however, that the Foxes will only accept a cash deal for the England international, who is said to be keen on a switch to north London.
