According to Sky Sports News' sources, the Gunners are in talks with Sevilla over a possible move for Steven Nzonzi.

The midfield is believed one key area where the club look to bolster, following the departures of Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla.

New Arsenal manager Unai Emery previously worked with Nzonzi during his time at Sevilla.

Meanwhile, Nzonzi is no stranger to English football, having previously played for Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City in the Premier League.

Emery has already brought in three signings, with Stephan Lichtsteiner joining from Juventus on a free transfer, while  goalkeeper Bernd Leno and Sokratis Papastathopoulos have also been acquired form Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund respectively.
