The French striker has struggled for game time this season, having made just 10 appearances all campaign while finding the back of the net on one occasion.
Recent reports have linked the 26-year-old with the likes of Barcelona and Juventus in recent weeks, with both of those sides looking to bolster their attack.
However, Sky Sports have reported that Martial wants to join Laliga outfit Sevilla as he looks to get regular game time as he looks to secure a spot in France's World Cup squad next year.
Red Devils interim manager Ralf Rangnick recently revealed that Martial must speak to the club directly if he wants to leave despite his agent's words on Sky Sports News.
"I don't communicate with agents via the media and the press. The player hasn't spoken with me or with us about it.
"And to be honest what his agent says via media is not that much of interest to me.
"I will not speak to the player about it because then I would react to what his agent said. It should be the player, if he really has the wish to go to another club, who informs either the board or myself, whomever."
