‘R243m EPL Star Better Than Pogba'

‘R243 million Premier League Star Better Than Manchester United’s Paul Pogba’

By Keegan Kruger - Feb 22, 2018 11:29 AM @KeeganKruger

A former Premier League player claims that Tottenham Hotspur's £15 million (R243 million) signing is proving to be a much better player than Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.

Mourinho Explains Why Pogba Was Dropped Again

Retired England international, now turned tv pundit, Jermaine Jenas claims that Belgian star Moussa Dembele is proving to be one of the best central midfielders in Europe and has 'destroyed' the likes of Pogba and Sami Khedira recently.

"In the past few weeks he (Dembele) has come up against players of the calibre of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic of Manchester United, and Sami Khedira and Miralem Pjanic of Juventus, and has destroyed them all," Jenas told the BBC.

"Those performances - and the way he played against Liverpool and Arsenal recently - have earned the 30-year-old Belgium international plenty of plaudits, and they are richly deserved.

"When he is at the top of his game, which he is at the moment, he is one of the best central midfielders in Europe - there is no doubt about that.

"He sucks in all the pressure and releases the ball at the perfect time.

"There was always a demand for more goals and assists from him, but he is so selfless they are not at the forefront of his mind.

"It is what he does for his team-mates, and how he does it, that makes him so special."

Mourinho: Why Sanchez Wanted Man Utd Move

The Belgium international, who moved to Spurs from Fulham in 2012, has made 225 appearances for the London-based club, scoring 10 goals and assisting in a further 11.

Mousa Dembele is way better than the overrated Pogba. They are both playing in the same position protected by Eric Deir and Matic respectively. Pogba gives way position easily , always out of position. He was playing in the same position at Juventus , protected by pirlo . People blame mourinho for the system he is playing. Pogba doesnt have football brains. mourinho played Fabregas in the same position at chelsea and they won the league. Pogba doesn't have football brains

I always tell people that Pogba is not the player they want him to be. Pogba is a central midfielder not and attacking midfielder (CM not CAM) but they are fooled by the free role he played at Juve whereas in nature he is a CM that kind of a player is capable of defending and is also equally capable in attack.

Pogba is not a defensive mid player, mou insistence on playing pogba in that deep role is killing pogba, let them sell him to madrid and they will see...we all saw him at jeventus....all this English legends are not fair on the guy
