According to Transfermarkt, all the players mentioned in the gallery above are new arrivals to the Premier League – the only criteria used to select this team, which will line up in a 4-3-3 formation.
He may not be the world's most expensive goalkeeper anymore, but Brazil international Alisson Becker was picked in goals for this starting XI. The shot-stopper cost Liverpool £67 million (R1.18 billion) from AS Roma, and is expected to be the Merseyside club's new No. 1.
The backline consists of two Everton signings, an Arsenal player and a Leicester City defender. Former FC Barcelona star Yerry Mina is paired with Gunners defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos at centre-back, while Ricardo Pereira and Lucas Digne are trusted to operate down the flanks.
The midfield is made up of three stars, and it was probably the most challenging selection with so many sides having strengthened in that area of the field. In this starting XI, we see Chelsea's Jorginho link up with African star Naby Keita and Manchester United's Fred, who joined from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Up front are two West Ham United players and a former Atletico Madrid striker who has signed for Fulham. Brazil international Felipe Anderson, Ukrainian Andriy Yarmolenko and the Cottagers' Luciano Vietto make up the frontline.
