The Blues are yet to welcome any new signings to Stamford Bridge ahead of the 2021/22 campaign, although manager Tuchel is believed to be eager to bolster his side.
It seems, though, that the Chelsea board feel it necessary to raise funds before launching any official offers, with the club having already collected more than €50 million (R858 million) from player sales since the window opened last month.
While both Fikayo Tomori and Olivier Giroud joined AC Milan on permanent deals, promising 21-year-old centre-back Marc Guehi signed for Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace this week, and Victor Moses has made a move to Spartak Moscow.
Those four are the only players who have brought in transfer fees for last season's UEFA Champions League winners, with several more having parted ways with the club as free agents.
Dutch midfielder Marco van Ginkel has officially left the Blues after eight long years on the club's books, during which he made only four first-team appearances. The 28-year-old has signed for PSV Eindhoven, where he has already enjoyed three separate loan spells since 2016.
Danilo Pantic and Izzy Brown have also found new clubs ahead of next season, while goalkeepers Willy Caballero and Jamal Blackman are currently available for free after their deals in London came to an end.
Talented young midfielder Billy Gilmour, meanwhile, will spend the 2021/22 campaign on loan at Norwich City, who have been promoted back to the Premier League following a successful season in the English Championship.
