Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has commented on the club's reported pursuit of a La Liga star, who is believed to be worth €65 million.
The Citizens are believed to interested in signing Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte, who was linked with FC Barcelona in the past.
Marca claim that the French defender has already agreed to join the Manchester outfit this month.
"I know you are curious about it. Here is not the place to talk about it," Guardiola was quoted as saying by FourFourTwo.
"Making deals is so difficult. It is not right place to talk about names.
"He's a player of Athletic Bilbao. You will know if it happens, if it doesn't, it won't happen.
"There were players in the past we were interested in, there will be in the future. We will try to do the best we can."
