The Citizens made light work of the newly-promoted outfit as goals from Leroy Sane, David Silva and Raheem Sterling secured a comfortable win on Saturday.
Despite the claiming three points, the former FC Barcelona manager was not pleased by the sloppiness from his players.
"My reaction is when they miss simple things – that is when I cannot handle myself," Guardiola said, according to the London Evening Standard.
"When a guy has a simple ball but they make an extra pass, an extra dodge and they miss the pass, I'm angry, I'm upset with my players. They know that, we spoke many times.
