Brazil coach Tite has revealed that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has asked about him one of his star midfielders, who is reportedly a big transfer target for the Premier League side.

The Citizens have been linked with Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred over the past few months but nothing materialised in the January transfer window.
When asked about the interest previously, Fed replied, "A friend gave me the news saying that City and Guardiola were interested in me.I'm happy to be so well known in Europe."
Tite has now revealed that Guardiola has been in contact with him regarding the 25-year-old.
"Fred? He's played a lot [for Shakhtar]," Tite said to UOL.
"He is good. In an exchange of cards, Guardiola asked me about him."
