Much has been said about the possibility of Yaya Toure leaving English giants Manchester City at the end of the season, but is he set to be replaced by this Bundesliga star?
According to the Daily Mirror, the Ivorian has already made the decision to leave the club at the end of the season, and it has been rumoured that incoming City manager Guardiola has his eyes set on Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
Toure's agent Dimitri Seluk has suggested that the relationship between the player and the club has broken down, and it looks increasingly likely his client will leave the Etihad at the end of the campaign.
Other reports have it that Guardiola is already participating in talks to bring Gundogan in, with the German being one of the club's priority signings, along with French star Paul Pogba, in the next transfer window.
Gundogan has scored three goals and assisted seven further strikes in his 37 appearances for Borussia Dortmund this season.
