According to Daily Mirror, the Man City board are ready to reward Guardiola with a new long-term contract which could be worth £80 million (R1.39 billion).
The former FC Barcelona boss is currently in the second year of his original three-year deal, but is expected to extend his stay by another four seasons.
The 46-year-old is said to be earning £15 million (R261 million) a year, but this will rise to £20 million (R348 million), meaning he will be getting around £400 000 (R6.97 million) a week.

Guardiola has been given full reign since stepping in the Etihad and has been allowed to build his backroom staff which consists of coaches whom he worked with at Bayern Munich and the Blaugrana.
