Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has responded to reports linking a Real Madrid star with the Etihad club.
Guardiola: I Would Love To See This Manager In the EPL
There are reports that Spain international Isco could be contemplating a move to the Premier League after representing his country at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Speaking at a Cruyff Foundation event on Tuesday, Guardiola was asked if City would be interested in signing the 26-year-old playmaker.
"City are not going to sign Isco," Guardiola answered, as quoted by Sport English.
The former FC Barcelona boss also spoke about the UEFA Champions League, and was asked if he thought Los Blancos deserved to win the competition three times in a row.
"They have won them," he added.
"What does it matter if they deserved them or not? We have to congratulate them because it is really difficult to win the Champions League."
Yaya: Mourinho Is Going To Be Angry
Despite the reports linking Isco with a switch to the Citizens, Guardiola is not expected to make many improvements to his title-winning squad in this transfer window.
