Pep Guardiola watched his side record a comprehensive 4-1 win over Burnley on Tuesday night, but the Manchester City boss was left red-faced after making an embarrassing post-match blunder.

The reigning Premier League champions enjoyed a comfortable victory over the Clarets courtesy of a brace from Gabriel Jesus, and goals from Riyad Mahrez and Rodri.
After the match, Guardiola was answering a question about the latter's strike when he momentarily seemed to forget which team he manages, referencing former club Bayern Munich instead of City.

"I think he (Rodri) has adjusted and he's perfectly suited for this league, honestly," Guardiola said.
"And I think Bayern Munich... Man City bought... Bayern Munich, what the f***? (laughs)... Man City! I don't know what I thought!
"I think Man City bought an incredible player for the next years."
