A Manchester City midfielder has been showered with praise by Pep Guardiola, who not only claimed that the star is one of the best players in the Premier League, but also 'one of the most talented' that the former FC Barcelona tactician has ever coached.

The 24-year-old midfielder has cemented his spot in City's starting XI and has been key to them battling for the FA Cup, Premier League, League Cup, Champions League titles.
With eight goals and seven assists in 35 matches in all competitions, Guardiola has lauded the contribution of Silva, claiming that he loves working with the former AS Monaco star.
"He's the biggest star already, he's a lovely person," Guardiola was quoted as saying on Manchester Evening News.
"I love to work with him, always a big smile. the most beloved in the locker room.
"He has everything, one of the most talented I've ever seen. He can play three or four positions, he knows when he doesn't play good, he's always eight or nine.
"You cannot play every single game every three days at the top level, but he runs and runs. Maybe this season he's been one or two of the best players in the Premier League.
"Look at how he celebrates goals with his team-mates - he's a joy, and I'm an incredibly lucky guy to have in my hands. I enjoy every training session and game.
"Portugal is fortunate to have him, the manager will use him every game. I love him, it's simple like that."
Silva made history in the clash against Liverpool, when he covered 13.7 kilometres against Liverpool, the most by any player in a Premier League game this season, even though he is not among the top five players, who have covered the most distance in 2018/19 overall.
