'Paul Pogba Thinks He Is Doing Manchester United A Favour By Being There!'

By Kurt Buckerfield - May 08, 2018 08:31 AM @KurtLaduma

Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba has been heavily criticised for many of his performances this season, and a former Premier League striker has now hit out at the Frenchman.

Secret Clause To Earn Pogba £2.8m Bonus?

The midfielder was slammed by many after his latest showing in the Red Devils' shock 1-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion last week Friday.

Former Chelsea forward Tony Cascarino believes Pogba feels his presence alone at United should be enough, and that it is certain manager Jose Mourinho is unhappy with him.

"He's got this swagger when he plays and I do believe he has a feeling like he's doing Manchester United a favour by being at Old Trafford," he told talkSPORT.

"We're not privy to what goes on on a day-to-day basis at Old Trafford and at Carrington on the training ground. But what we're pretty sure of is that Jose Mourinho isn't happy with him.

"He makes a lot of bad decisions when he's on the ball for someone so good and has played for Juventus, Manchester United and the French national team."

Pogba Hits Out At Critics

Pogba has contributed to 18 goals in 34 games for the Red Devils so far this season, 12 of which have been assists.

Do you agree with Cascarino claims about Pogba? Let us know in the comments section below.

@Chicharito07 I honestly think that this thing of price tag on him is very unfair, especially when comparing him with other fellow expensive players: Mbape and Dembele did not contribute but the world is saying nothing about them. Again maybe he inherited that stigma from his manager who is always attacked!

@Gcinah it must be because of his price tag versus his form I think cos without a doubt he's a great player he just needs to marry hard work cos talent alone ain't enough. Taking absolutely nothing from the inputs you posted

Three things For a World Class Midfielder: Football Brain, Quality and Consistency, its up to you football lovers to judge, I made my mind long time ago with Pogba! I've watch so many mid-fielders playing different roles for their Teams, Surprise Morriri as the targetman, second striker, a winger, player-maker and as a defensive-midfielder, whether the position suit him or not but He never disappoint in showing Quality with the ball Consistantly, Teko Modise, Yeye, Jali, Jabulani Maluleka, Disco Makua, Doc Khumalo and Steve Lekolea, just a few SA sample to highlight these 3 defining factors! People please take your time and analyse closely these players when having the ball from the first time you saw them up to date, doesn't matter whether they are too deep or closer to the opposition area, playing with good or average teammates, But the quality with the ball, their decision-making and consistency: David Silva, Juan Mata, Kevin DeBryan, Ozil, Febregas, Cristian Erickson, Luca Modric, Iniesta, Ratikic, Kroose and our very own Mshishi.......do Pogba fit in here? Another Fact: All these players but Cristian Erickson, shift from position to position along the midfield line without losing potency and the ball but we've never discuss their poor form, their position, every other week, why Pogba?

I like Jose mourinho, but he is finished as a manager at this level. We need somebody like leornado jardim ,Thomas tuchel or pochetino at Man Utd.

@jujuLeBhakaJUJU well said bhakaniya at Juve Pogba had a free role where he could play from box to box with the freedom of knowing that when he goes forward he's got cover at the back, hence he was controlling the midfield with ease and taking the long range shoot and scoring the crackers, I'm definitely sure he'll silence his critics at the world cup...Mourinho is the Gavin Hunt of the EPL

The current Man U team is managed by a skop n doner manager, more like Gavin Hunt coaching a Sundowns team kinda situation...Pogba performs better when playing for country and yes he was fantastic at Juve, still has those flashy hairstyles and that same swag. Just that people judge him based on his price tag, hairstyles, swag and his social media posts. If Man U can be more attacking like they did when they beat Man City recently then we will get the best out of Pogba. Right now he's playing for Wits from England.

Pogba is not doing enough for a person of his experience. 1 has no choice but to agree with this legend. He's basing his argument on facts..

Tony who? This is pure jealousy, now because Pogba oozes so much swag and makes bad decisions on the you just conclude "he thinks he Is doing Man Utd a favour by being there "? You admit you aren't privy to what goes on day-to-day at Old Trafford and Carrington but you still say Mourinho is angry with Pogba, what kind of foolish reasoning is this? Are you a seer? Who are you by the way, what's your claim to fame??
