With Paul Pogba's goal against Fulham helping Manchester United return to the top of the Premier League table, the France superstar later reacted to his stunning strike.
The Frenchman netted United's second goal as they came from behind to beat the Cottagers 2-1 on Wednesday night.
Edinson Cavani had scored the equaliser before Pogba sent the Red Devils back to the top of the log with a superb strike with his left foot.
"I hit the ball well," Pogba said, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
"I didn't expect it with the left foot like this, but if you don't try, then you don't score.
"It was a beautiful goal and beautiful win."

Pogba also discussed missing a great chance against Liverpool on Sunday, which could have helped his side beat the Reds in their 0-0 draw.
"It is not like I apologised, but I was really mad after the Liverpool game for not scoring the chance," he added.
"I maybe should've done better, but today it went in. The most important thing was the win today. We did it the hard way and did it the beautiful way."
Pogba and company now sit at the top of the Premier League table with 40 points in 19 matches – 12 points more than they had after the same number of games last season – and are two points ahead of second- and third-placed Manchester City and Leicester City, respectively.
