Chelsea and France forward Olivier Giroud has revealed what he said to himself when he first saw Blues superstar Eden Hazard in training.
The Belgian began the season like a house on fire following his sensational form for the Red Devils at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Giroud, who began playing with Hazard in January after joining the Blues from Arsenal, was blown away by the 27-year-old's brilliance when he first saw him on Chelsea's training ground.
"When I saw Eden Hazard in training for my first session at Chelsea, I said to myself: 'F***, it's hard to take the ball off him!'" he told Le Figaro.
"Sometimes there are two or three players around him and he still manages to get out in tight spaces. He's a magician, he's impressive.
"Now I've started to learn his style, I give him space. It's better for him and for me."
Hazard has scored eight goals and assisted a further four strikes in 14 matches across all competitions for Chelsea so far this season.
