On Wednesday, Spurs confirmed their third signing of the month when they announced the arrival of Netherlands international Steven Bergwijn from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven on a five-and-a-half-year deal.
According to The Guardian, the London club will pay an initial £25.4 million plus £2 million in add-ons (R519 million in total) for the 22-year-old forward, who had been with PSV since his professional debut in 2015.
Bergwijn recorded 31 goals and 41 assists in 149 senior appearances during his time with the Dutch giants, and has, to date, made nine appearances for the Netherlands national team.
The three-time Eredivisie winner is Mourinho's third signing since taking charge of Spurs, after Portugal international Gedson Fernandes arrived on loan earlier in the month and Giovanni Lo Celso's short-term deal was made permanent for £27.2 million (R516 million).
