Manchester have confirmed their second January exit after Timothy Fosu-Mensah joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
The Dutchman has been out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, making just three starts in nearly four years, and rejected a contract extension earlier in the campaign.
However, he now joined the Bundesliga side, who bought him for a reported fee of €1.5 million.
The 23-year-old, who joined the club’s youth academy in 2014, become United’s second January exit after Ethan Laird was sent on loan to MK Dons.
