The Reds have confirmed the exit of Dejan Lovren, who joins Zenit St. Petersburg in a deal estimated to be worth €12 million (R228 million).
He becomes the club's fourth first-team exit after Pedro Chirivella, Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Lallana's departures were confirmed over the past month.
The 31-year-old leaves Liverpool after six years, during which he made 185 first-team appearances, helping the Reds lift the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and Premier League titles along the way.
