Premier League Chelsea have confirmed yet another departure, with one of their defenders joining Serie A leaders AC Milan.
Defender Fikayo Tomori will spend the rest of the season on loan with the Milan outfit after failing to get regular minutes at Stamford Bridge.
The Serie A outfit have confirmed there is an option to make the move permanent for the 23-year-old, who will the number 23 jersey.
AC Milan is delighted to announce the signing of Oluwafikayomi Oluwadamilola Tomori on loan from Chelsea FC until the end of the season. The defender has signed a contract until June 30, 2021, but AC Milan have an option to make the deal permanent.
Milan currently sit top of the Serie A standings while they will face Red Star Belgrade in the UEFA Europa League Round of 32 next month.
Tomori becomes Milan's second signing of the January transfer window after the arrival of former Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic.
