France international N'Golo Kante has revealed why he ended up snubbing Arsene Wenger's Arsenal for Antonio Conte's Chelsea.
The 26-year-old defensive midfielder was in high demand last season after he helped minnows Leicester City lift the Premier League title for the first time in their history.
Kante has now admitted he had many offers on the table after his impressive campaign with the Foxes, with some clubs making more of an effort than others.
"With Arsenal, there was an interest but not a big as other clubs," Kante told Sky Sports.
"That is why I didn't go to Arsenal and went to Chelsea."
The Frenchman's decision seems to have paid off as the Stamford Bridge side are top of the log, while Arsenal are in fifth place.
Kante has made 33 appearances in all competitions for the London side so far in this campaign, scoring two goals.
