Manchester United recently parted ways with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and manager Jose Mourinho has explained why they won't sign a replacement.
The Red Devils terminated the Swede's contract last week and he has since joined Major League Soccer outfit LA Galaxy.
However, Mourinho says they have no intentions of signing another striker as they already have the likes of Romelu Lukaku, who scored his 100th Premier League goal on Saturday, as well as Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez.
"We have Lukaku and Marcus Rashford as number nines, and of course Marcus can play right and left, but Marcus is a striker," Mourinho told the media, according to FourFourTwo.
"Alexis can play as a striker, [Anthony] Martial can play as a striker, so without having another Lukaku, we have three more players that can play as a nine."
Mourinho also claimed they could change systems should Romelu Lukaku not be available.
"If we don't have Lukaku for different reasons, we can change systems and play with two and give more mobility to, for example, Marcus and Martial together, Marcus and Alexis together, so we are not going to go for another number nine," he added.
