Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has rubbished reports linking him with a move away from the London club if Arsene Wenger stays on as manager in the future.
According to a recent report by Don Balon, the 27-year-old Germany international was considering his options after supposedly losing his patience with working under Wenger.
However, Ozil has since taken to Twitter to dismiss any rumours that he is thinking of leaving Arsenal anytime soon.
"Have seen the media reports today," he tweeted.
"Arsene Wenger was a big reason for me joining Arsenal – this hasn't changed! #Respect #AFC"
The former Real Madrid star, whose current contract with the Gunners expires in 2018, is yet to sign a new deal.
Ozil has scored seven goals and notched up an impressive 19 assists in all competitions this season.
