Mesut Ozil has confirmed on Turkish televesion his departure from Arsenal to Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

It was reported on Saturday that Arsenal and Ozil had come to an agreement to terminate his contract with six months remaining.
The Sun claimed the German midfielder said farewell to his Arsenal teammates at the training ground on Sunday before heading to Turkey.
The 32-year-old has now confirmed that he is joining Fernerbache after spending seven-and-a-half years in North London.
"I am so happy. I'm a Fenerbahce fan. God wanted me to play football in Fenerbahce. I'm proud," Ozil told NTV, according to the Mirror.
“I am coming tonight with my family to Istanbul, thank God who gave me the opportunity to represent this club. I will wear the shirt with pride.”
