According to The Sun, the 21-year-old England international earns about £80 000 (R1.4 million) a week at Old Trafford, but could be offered a new deal after the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Several clubs have shown interest in signing the United youth product in recent months, especially after Jose Mourinho appeared reluctant to start him week in and week out in the 2017/18 campaign.
United reportedly have no intention of letting Rashford leave, however, and plan on rewarding him with a bumper new deal that will see his weekly wage increase in a big way.
The England forward will reportedly be offered a contract that will see his wage increase to £130 000 (R2.2 million) a week, which would make him the seventh highest-paid player at the club.
It has also been claimed that the player is seeking assurances over his future, and the Red devils apparently feel it is important to show the promising striker just how highly he is valued.
