According to Calciomercato, the Red Devils might be preparing to offer the Spaniard a two-year deal in England.
Ramos’ contract in Spain expires at the end of this season, and there has not yet been any indication as to whether the centre-back will extend his current deal.
If the defender does not sign an extension in the coming weeks, he could very well become a free agent ahead of the 2021/22 campaign, with United tipped as a potential destination.
Ramos has also reportedly attracted interest from the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
The Spaniard joined Los Blancos from Sevilla in 2005, and has since represented the club on 667 occasions, contributing to 140 goals and winning 22 trophies.
