With Jose Mourinho reportedly keen to bring a new goalscorer to Old Trafford in the next window, Manchester United's main January transfer target has now reportedly been revealed.
The Portuguese boss is believed to be ready to step up his interested in West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic, according to the Daily Mail.
Mourinho's first-choice striker Romelu Lukaku is struggling to find the back of the net this season, with his last goal coming on 15 September. At home, Lukaku's drought is 238 days long already, while Alexis Sanchez and Marcus Rashford are also not scoring regularly.
United's scoring woes once again came to show on Saturday, when they failed to beat Crystal Palace at home for the first time in Premier League history, collecting just a point from the 0-0 draw.
As a consequence, Mourinho wants to the club to sign Arnautovic in January, but a move will not be easy as West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is eager to keep hold of the Austrian star.
Arnautovic has scored five goals and assisted one further strike in 12 games across all competitions for the Hammers so far this season.
