With Manchester United having signed two players and reportedly reached an agreement with Real Madrid for Raphael Varane, the club's next two serious transfer targets have seemingly been revealed.
It has been a busy and impressive window for the Red Devils so far, after the confirmed arrivals of Tom Heaton and Jadon Sancho and with Varane reportedly set to soon undergo a medical ahead of his move to the club.
The latter's switch to United from Los Blancos looks certain following reports on Monday, with it being widely claimed that the two clubs have reached an agreement over the 28-year-old centre-back's signature.
While the transfer news will no doubt excite supporters, it appears that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the Red Devils' board are not finished conducting business ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
According to the Daily Mail, United have now set their sights on Atletico Madrid duo Kieran Trippier and Saul Niguez.
It has been suggested that Solskjaer is interested in signing a new right-back in this window, with Trippier, 30, reportedly having been a target for the past few months.
Saul, meanwhile, is said to be open to leaving Los Rojiblancos ahead of next season, with a number of Premier League clubs, as well as Barcelona, understood to be chasing his services.
