Man Utd Target Confirms Interest In Mourinho Reunion

A Manchester United target, who featured at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, has confirmed he would be interested in working with his former manager Jose Mourinho again.

Reports: Man Utd & Chelsea Set For Late Swap Deal

Brazil international Willian and the Portuguese tactician shared some success during their time together at Chelsea, lifting the Premier League title on two occasions together.

Reports suggest that the winger is one of Mourinho's primary targets in this transfer window, and the 29-year-old has now admitted he would like to play under him again at some point.

"Mourinho is the best manager I have ever worked with. We have a good relationship, we are friends," Willian told ESPN Brasil.

"Sometimes we talk, we text, we send messages to each other via WhatsApp. He is a great manager, and I really enjoyed working with him. I hope I can work with him again someday."

Willian also stated that he is not aware of any official offers being made for him, and insisted he is fully committed to Chelsea.

"I do not know if there was any official bid (from United), but some things have happened," he added.

"Also, everything comes out on the internet, too. However, Mourinho talks to my agent all the time, and he says 'bring him, bring him'. No, he has never called me, but he always sends me text messages.

"But I am very happy at Chelsea, and I want to stay in the club. I also like living in London, it is an amazing city, and my family is well adapted. So yeah, I intend to stay at Chelsea."
