The 25-year-old, who has been included in France's 2018 FIFA World Cup squad, had something of an up-and-down second season with the Red Devils, and there have been some reports suggesting he may be looking for a move away from the Premier League.
In an exclusive interview recently, Pogba was asked to name midfielders he thought had more football ability than he does.
"There is Andres Iniesta, who is having an amazing career," the Frenchman told Canal+.
"Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Yaya Toure, even (Abou) Diaby. Box-to-box, he was exceptional, but unfortunately, he had a lot of injuries.
"Look at him when he was he was at Arsenal – he was exceptional. People forget about him. In the France team, he was enormous. I've got a lot of respect for him. I won't forget him, I learned a lot from him."
Pogba is currently with Les Bleus preparing for their friendly encounter against the Republic of Ireland on Monday night.
