After Manchester United announced the departures of Ander Herrera and Antonio Valencia, the Red Devils are now reportedly close to confirming their third exit of the transfer window.

The Premier League side missed out on UEFA Champions League qualification after finishing the 2018/19 campaign in sixth spot.
As a consequence, United's transfer plans have changed slightly. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is pushing ahead with his squad revamp, though, as he wants to have most of his transfer dealings wrapped up before the team returns for pre-season training on 1 July.
According to the Daily Mirror, Juan Mata will be the next player to leave Old Trafford, with the club keen to free up their heavy wage bill. The 31-year-old, who has been with United for five and a half years, has reportedly not agreed to an extension on his expiring contract.

He joined the Red Devils from Chelsea in January 2014 and has since made 218 appearances for the club, scoring 45 goals and assisting another 37 strikes. Under Solskjaer, though, he has started just 11 of the 29 games since the Norwegian took over from Jose Mourinho.
It remains to be seen where Mata will end up in the coming campaign, with reports suggesting he will return to Spain.
