With several players having been linked with moves away from Manchester United in this transfer window, has the club's first departure now been revealed?
According to BBC Sport, Dutchman Daley Blind is said to be close to returning to Ajax Amsterdam, the club he left to join United four years ago.
The 28-year-old, who will apparently cost his former club only £18.5 million (R324 million), was one of the first names on the team sheet at United under Louis van Gaal's management, but played just 17 matches in the whole of the past campaign.
The Dutch international is capable of playing at centre-back, left-back and in a deep-lying midfield role, although his versatility has not been utilised by Mourinho recent times.
It has been claimed that Blind will sign a four-year deal upon his return to Ajax – a club he represented on 143 occasions previously.
