With Alexis Sanchez's high wages and poor form reportedly becoming a problem for Manchester United, the club has reportedly come up with a plan to get him off their books.
The Chilean has had a tough time in Manchester since his arrival in January 2018, despite being the team's highest earner.
The former Arsenal winger struggled under previous Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho, and has not exactly redeemed himself under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and is now said no longer be a part of the Norwegian's plans going forward.
According to The Sun, Solskjaer is set to stay on as permanent manager after the season ends, which has thrown Sanchez's United future into doubt.
The report claimed the club will look to send the player out on loan to free up their wage bill as they do not believe they will be able to sell him just yet.
Sanchez is believed to be on about £400 000 (R7.5 million) a week at Old Trafford, although his two goals in 23 games for United so far this season certainly does not justify that salary.
Since his arrival at the club, the 30-year-old has registered just five strikes in 41 matches.
