An out-of-favour Manchester United star is reportedly desperate to leave the Old Trafford club.
According to The Sun, England international Luke Shaw feels he has no choice but to leave the Red Devils at the end of this season after Jose Mourinho's latest attack on him.
It has been said the left back is keen on reuniting with his former boss Mauricio Pochettino, but that will only be possible if there changes at Tottenham Hotspur.
There are rumours the London club may lose Danny Rose to either Chelsea or Manchester City next season, and if this happens, there would be an opening for Shaw in Spurs' starting line-up.
The 21-year-old has struggled for fitness and form this season, but has apparently been putting in extra training hours to try to get back to peak physical condition.
Shaw has not played for the Red Devils since Mourinho had a go at him for talking to Bournemouth players during a 1-1 draw on 4 March.
According to the Portuguese tactician himself, the Englishman is currently behind Marcos Rojo, Ashley Young, Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind in the pecking order for the left back slot, and will need to improve immensely to make any movement up this list.
Shaw has made 15 appearances across all competitions for the Red Devils this season, assisting one strike.
